ABOUT 7 GENERATIONS BLACK LEGACY
7-Generations Black Legacy is an initiative that is bringing together Black leaders and community members in Denver to create and invest in the infrastructure and resources needed to support Black people today and for the next generations to come.
There are 7 black-led organizations spearheading this initiative (aka “Leader Table”), and over 30 (and counting) Black healers, practitioners, nonprofits and philanthropic leaders engaged in designing and building a process for community healing and creating. We have been engaging directly with over 200 Black community members and with thousands of other Black community members through our collective community-based work and events to ensure that we are creating a container for this project that is driven by community voice and desires.
